I’m hearing rumors that business lines/functions will have 20% targets for an October RIF. Is anyone else hearing the same? Does anyone know of any specifics?

You could fire at least 40% of offshore the company would become more productive from not having them fu-k everything up.

For the folks that used to frequent Design Shop the 20% number might be realistic. Other departments have all been cut to the quick. I’ve got my strategy in place and would be delighted with severance, or I’ll be leaving after bonuses (haha) come out Q1. Take your PTO folks!

Well there are not enough US employees remaining in tech to hit 20%. If this is true then offshore will be impacted. Maybe a result of declining US India relations.
20% of US tech would be a very small number …. sad but true.
