Spell out acronyms please. I see lots of posts about people working 8 hours in the office but there are some of us who are worried about working zero (0) hours soon.

@ey So does your Mom.
@en Hey Charlotte troll - How about egodo your research before spouting out lies. Filter the below link (I hope you can figure out how to do that) for Wells Fargo to see ACTUAL STATISTICS not your wishful thinking.
https://workforce.iowa.gov/employers/resources/warn/notices
Poor Des Moines people. They know it’s true and are getting all defensive.
I've worked for WF when it was Midwest/West centric, and when it was Midwest/East centric. The former was a great place to work. The latter is the complete garbage we're all experiencing right now. Not seeing the strong argument in favor of east coast superiority. Maybe if you live in I&P, but not here.
Corp Risk in CLT, at least a dozen people today that I’ve heard of.
@bz GFY and your East Coast bias.
@ak, you're full of sh!t. There have literally only been 349 total people in Des Moines noticed this entire year so far, with less than 30 for September entirely. Verified on the Iowa WARN log from Iowa Workforce and Development site, so don't even try with your BS.
@b8 And what groups would that be? Unsecured Lending?
@bz you are truly clueless. You need to do your research. Also the level of f*cktards I’ve dealt with in NC is sometimes shocking. But, just like some I deal with in Iowa, there are also plenty of very intelligent and competent people there.
The brain drain in Des Moines is real. Wells Fargo recognizes this and is leaving that hick town.
@b7 Haven’t heard anything about that yet. Waiting for my ticket today.
@ap any update
Pretty much all groups got hit in Des Moines today. Eventual goal is to shut the place down.
Financial Crimes Investigations in Portland is gone
Corporate risk in San Francisco
Des Moines, Architecture. laid off today
Nothing in oregon as of yet :(
@ak what groups LOBs in des moines?
Technology for SNS got hit, engineers and project managers hit hard. People working on change control hit hard in tech
Totally agree with you - @aa+1k6d5w9dy
Seems like we need a reddit sub-thread for the RTO discussions.
@am congratulations!!!🎉
If Barnhart is getting laid off today I hope it’s early. I don’t want to work an entire shift and be told last minute.
CAO, just hung up with my manager delivering me a golden ticket! Good riddance!
Des Moines getting hit hard. Hundreds cut. People crying in office today.
Technology is being hit today too!
Marketing
But it was the desired outcome for at least some that were impacted, so 🤷
Corp Risk location strategy hit folks in OR today.
@ac anyone effected would recognize their area.
@OP if you are concerned about yourself why would you need acronyms spelled out? Do you not know what group your in?
Smells like a troll
This board has gone from an RTO complain space to an 8 hour in office complain fest.
Yes, some of us could losing our jobs today. The site is called "the layoff" .
