Anyone have any idea? I'm in such a bad spot that I'm clinging to this job for dear life. I wouldn't even be able to begin searching for another job. I just need a couple of months until the dust settles.

The strategy keeps changing. But RIF,outsource or offshore most roles does seem to be the latest
@18a There have been layoffs happening every month for almost 2 years so far.
If they follow a pattern, which typically seems to be the case. Layoffs here seem to be about every 6 months at this point. So around the August/September mark is likely. September was a date in past years so I wouldnt be surprised.
@hc the move so exciting and "employee first" they made everyone involed in planning sign a non disclosure agreement
@ec We're all moving to Cog or Zen tomorrow. There won't be a layoff then.
@ga thats not true, lots of people new about the conversations with the outsourcing companys. Someone had to put employees on these lists, not done at C level.
I would definitely talk to someone. The last move, the outsourcing, ALMOST no one below C level knew about the change. Everyone was blindsided.
@ed that information is very tightly held. It would probably out whomever shared it, if, in fact, anyone knows south of Stephanie and Bob. Everyone already knows what they are all about.
@ec thank you 🙏🏽 but, can you also provide the source, approx number of team members affected? Their Departments?Function? Roles? Regions? UK/US? Or Anything more than the date…

In a post somewhere below, titled, New RIF Day for Cognizant, it states 08/31/2026. Take care of yourself while you go through this.
If you have been following here at all, then you know how much support there is here. It's a time of great change and challenge for everyone. There are so many circumstances and responsibilities being faced now. The pressure of responsibility is enormous. Taking care of family is a primal need. Be kind to yourselves as you work it out. Use your EAP resources for assistance. If you are struggling, tell someone. In the US, call 988 for help.
