Companies use contracting companies to show fewer employees on balance sheet.
Contracting companies hire h1bs and pocket half of their hourly pay.
US software engineers are not hired .
It is not the h1 that’s is the main problem.
Companies using contractors to avoid paying benefits and show a smaller head count.
In 90s and 2000s companies directly hired good h1bs and paid good wages.

Turned into a welfare nation. Generations of disability and welfare payments got us where we are. Not politically driven it’s just a fact. Deporting illegals is fine but Americans are too lazy to fill those jobs left behind. Dont care if they’re red or blue. Don’t want to work because they lose their free debit cards and healthcare.

Trump's stupid bravado has only emboldened businesses to relocate more jobs overseas. In fact, major businesses are planning massive layoffs q4 and q1 & budgeting for big hiring in offshore locations.
OK - then set those additional rules (for everyone) before any “subsidies” are granted.

When a company gets government subsidies or is otherwise a government protected entity, then certain additional rules apply, especially when other countries are creating false market places for their assets.
