This page is to talk $chitt about layoffs. In our Leg T craft work world, the company first declares a surplus and then has to offer the VTP (Voluntary Termination Package) for the surplus number, and then it goes by seniority to get it. Of course high seniority workers will excitedly take it which results in the company shedding old timers while keeping younger workers. It's a win/win/win deal. Of course those who licked boots to get their @$$ ki$$ing "manager" job can't stand the thought of these old union workers getting two years pay to leave and retire with pension, benefits, 401k and loads of laughter. So they come on this page saying all kinds of cr@p about how we'll be fired before we ever get it. We all just continue laughing out loud hanging out at work.
