They're just slowly getting rid of everyone, first by offshoring and then with AI. They don't seem to realize that ki-ling jobs also degrades or ki-ls your products. But hey, no job is safe anymore anyway, I guess, so it is what it is.

At our recent town hall... AI is going to interpret the requirements doc, code and test. And it will likely even write the requirements too.
WTF. Sounds like something guaranteed to go wrong.
Fortunately I am retiring this year, so won't be my issue.
@j8 Mike is dealing with collateral damage after Frankie's tenure. It's gonna take time to undo it all. Some layoffs do need to happen because we still have dead weight in this company of do nothing nepo babies and H1B1s.
No job is EVER safe. You can be canned at any time for any reason. I have seen people fired inside of 30 second phone call. True. Look out for yourself always
@j8 mike is an unmitigated disaster. He needs to go. Fiserv will collapse another 50% on Feb 10th when the world knows the truth behind this stock and how bad and terrible our services are. We are not even a company — we are a cr-p shoot.
From working with a lot of senior leaders at Fiserv, there is a genuine lack of understanding as to what is going on in their respective areas. The clients no longer even really feel it’s worth their time to escalate or submit tickets for issues. Offshore teams have no oversight and their problems rarely get attention from onshore business owners. All the senior leaders do is attend happy talk meetings with each other and then go hear vague client complaints and make commitments they never intend to follow up on. Clients are desperate for Fiserv to be a good partner for them, they WANT to use one service provider, it simplifies things so much for them and Fiserv could easily be the best option but we have cowardly or incompetent VPs and SVPs who either don’t know what’s going on or don’t want to speak up to executives so nothing ever changes. With the absolute dumpster fire that is XD burning off our digital market share, the lack of investment and knowledgeable support pushing away over 100 core clients, or the underwhelming and slow CashFlow Central rollout, Fiserv needs a wake up call. Folks are excited for Mike, not because he is anything special, but just because he’s singing a different tune. He’s still a effectively laid off hundreds of people in his tenure already and made no real changes that benefit clients or associates, people are just so starved for a change from Frank that anything different is seen as a positive.
If AI will burn our client's goodwill, then we have nothing to lose.
@dj Fiserv will still get to keep the leftovers. AI will help them create more headaches for all even faster.
Headcount won't be reduced through AI in any way shape or form without first burning the company and any good will we have with clients even further into a nasty paste.
Saying to us all, hayyy boiss... reduce costs with AI with no instructions, and no risk management or accountability? That's not leadership. It's just chickenshit lemming behavior. Where are the people leading anything at all?
Many are leaving for better jobs. They're not hanging around.
columbus is untouchable, sorry peasants
Yes this is the plan, spread AI from CST to other groups. They have overreached and overestimated not only capabilities but adoption.
No job is safe, so find another job you pathetic human. Stop whining, start actions!
Lyndon was telling us at the GBS town hall that he wants everyone to incorporate AI into our workflow. For what I do, I do not trust our tech for as far as you can throw it, so AI won't be any different.
Hard to argue this one
