The 2019-2020 bloodbath still scars, and there were plenty of layoffs in December and January, with February being extraordinarily harsh.

There is a lot of fair skepticism along with absurd trolling on this web page, but no one should assume the company is in the clear simply due to the date.

They fired a bunch of people in January a few years back. Don’t feel so safe just because you made it through the holidays

@dx maybe. Cigna didn’t have a pension. So, that was an added cost to keep us around longer than cutting us loose

After 3/31, the Cigna severance plan and compensation guarantees expire for Cigna conveyed employees. It will become much cheaper to lay us off at that point, and to “recalibrate” comp for those that remain.
