Changes to time in office

Anyone know why the changes to time in office has been delayed? What date will the announcement go out and when will it be effective?

I heard it’s been pushed back twice.

@dn

"A peer asked about the changes in our weekly meeting and our manager had not heard anything about changes."

Your manager heard about the changes. This is one of the most frustrating and infuriating things. Just be honest with your teams. Unfortunately, lying comes as naturally as breathing to most managers and is always their first instinct.

Not adjusting for holidays and for band 3 vacation has got to drive a lot of questions. Also, not sure how legal it is for the company to treat peers different just bc of a private office. They may want people to quit but the wrong people will quit.

A peer asked about the changes in our weekly meeting and our manager had not heard anything about changes. My peer noted that leaders in his building are talking about it, so I’m certain it’s coming. Full days required in office and no longer able to work from home two days in a row, which includes Friday and Monday.

They probably realized making this announcement during Employee Appreciation Month is not a good look and wouldn't fit their "Great Place to Work" motto. No doubt the changes are happening but I wouldn't be surprised if these phonies hold off till the first week of April to announce it so they don't look bad. Who knows at this point

Considering the FACT that much of this job is with you on vacation and at 10:00pm, they can pound sand. If we’re going to be sticklers on desk time, then my laptop and bank phone will absolutely live in the office exclusively. No more nightly emails, no more “on vacation but available for emergencies”. Bank of America work, will ONLY happen on Bank of America grounds during the hours of 9-5, except those days when WFH happen.

They need to wait until managers actually start coming into the office first.

How are the changes in effect without the official communication?

@OP I heard even though the communications and my learning didn’t go out, the changes are already in effect. I don’t know what to believe 😩 just make sure you’re going into the office 3xs a week.
