Consolidation and off shoring to India. Do not transfer move to Atlanta. You want to stay in Atlanta start looking. The plan will come and be executed fast and furious. Zero relocation to go from Atlanta to Dallas area.

I go between Dallas and Atlanta fairly frequently and can confirm there is no plan currently to shut down Atlanta. Could that change? Absolutely. That just isn’t something that is being discussed right now.
Well, I see you've posted multiple things about LENOX. At least spell it correctly.
AT&T only kept Atlanta as a hub to satisfy their minority hiring needs. They hate the Southeast and any leadership originating from that area. DEI is out, and as a result so is Atlanta. H1Bs reporting to white psychopaths in Dallas is the future, until our market cap drops enough to be acquired by PE and broken up / sold off.
I moved vac to Atlanta from Dallas a number of years ago and have had a recurring nightmare about having to move back.
I guess my worst fears will eventually be confirmed!
I don’t have direct info on this, but I wouldn’t be surprised. The goal is almost everyone in Dallas. I do know for a fact. All the backfills and new hires have to be in Dallas. No advancement unless you move to Dallas as well. We were told that. So yeah, the goal is to phase out Atlanta.
so all the $$ to renovate is not ATT money? I mean they are spending A LOT (adding elevator and renovated all of 1055, 1057 and lobby/cafeteria of 1025)
And they’re not going to be done for a year. Im skeptical of a plan to move all of Lenox to Dallas 2 years later. Some, maybe
I was RTO'd to Atlanta in the Torretta Org and was one of the high ranked award workers. Lot of good that did me, I was released in June after moving to Atlanta. The RTO was just being used to push people out and hope that the company would not have to pay a severance. This Org is BIG BIG BIG on moving jobs to their Center of Excellence in you know where.
