MH: "We are evolving our corporate brand from Cengage Group to Cengage"

The revolving door of executives at the top hated all the brands in the business because they knew nothing about them. Much easier for a spreadsheet jockey to talk about one brand. Who cares about history or legacy? The IPO liquidity event is the only thing that matters to MH and whichever other blood su-kers are still standing so they can cash out and put all this behind them.
Cengage is such a ridiculously d-mb name. So embarrassing.
So pathetic. How many times have we updated the "brand" now? Do these changes ever make any difference? No. Cengage loves corporate nonsense.
@ae Don't let the door hit you in the AXX on the way out.
@px I want to know what courses JE was buying from Cengage since Cengage Learning shows up on the credit card statements in the files
I'm surprised Clarivate hasn't already acquired Gale.
MH looks like a pedo-protector dummy standing next to Senator Husted on LinkedIn LOL
@df Gale will probably be sold off.
From Cengage to Cengage Learning to Cengage Group to Cengage. We've come full circle in roughly 10 years.
I'm confused because Gale has had it's own name for so long. What's going to happen to their proprietary publications, primary sources, etc.? I guess I'm wondering if this is more of an employee thing or is the whole Gale name going away?
Profound! Here's a bonus check for your brilliance, MH!
Classic playbook - when a company has no good news to share, update the brand
The horizon! Good one.
Say goodbye to any respected brands (national geographic, gale, milady) as we are now forced under this huge stupid cr-p umbrella. The announcement email also has instructions on how to update everything on our linked in profiles to Cengage only because "Every employee plays a role in helping to build a strong recognizable company brand." You mean a brand that has been renamed/reorgged at least a dozen times since its inception? A brand that purchases companies to gut them? A brand that forced employees to give up a third of their salaries for months during covid? A terrible brand that has awful market reputation? Thanks.
So mass layoffs on the horizon?
