Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Does every conduct investigation by HR/ER end up with MAP status?

Let's say you're investigated for conduct, you got drunk and obnoxious many hours after a post-work event. Does that basically always end with MAP (Misconduct Accountability Program) status? That means it's impossible to get higher than a 3 rating, and you also get 0% raise and at most -20% on last year's bonus.

Funny how everyone is assuming the version of events by the poster is the truth. You can absolutely be held accountable for your conduct outside of typical work hours when not on WF property under a number of certain conditions.

@df are you saying because it’s not related to job function and not at work, the MAP program doesn’t apply to that realm?

@op I’ll let you know. I was investigated. Still waiting on final word. Only difference is that my indiscretion was at work during working hours but involved no other physical beings.

As someone who has in-depth knowledge of MAP, not all substantiated investigations are in scope for MAP. What you described would not be.

@a7 if it is associated with co-workers or at an after hours work function it is still considered as misconduct per policy

You only get put into the MAP if you receive a formal or final warning for conduct.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding your comment but why would anything post-work affect your work review?
