Is it true that we might have more layoffs this year or next? I heard that automatic robots are coming to the distribution centers and more jobs going to South America and India are still going down. A high hat in ops. heard it from one of the bosses in securety when he helped him with a violent person problem in his market and then told my boss. He said he told him he is asking for a bigger team . Is that for real or did my boss not understand it right? My boss is always right on what he hears. I’m stressing. Are any of you hearing the same?

@k7 na bruh. You aren’t getting it. If he talks like that, what’s he say about us if we call him? The saying is see anything, say some thing? Na. There’s no damn way. Thanks for more proof that we are doing right by us.
@d9 I disagree with you. His “big a-s mouth” is good for us. We would not have known some things going on without him. Read the posts in other parts of the posts. His yapping is our gain. He told my manager that in his first few weeks here, he made his boss quit and he fired our CEO’s son. He said his son threatened an employee and one of his team members told him and he had them start an investigation using ethics and HR to “take him down”. Ole colonel talks too much but he also has big a-s ba--s. Besides, the colonel told my manager he is a bourbon drinker so that ain’t all bad right? I’m just saying..

I don’t mean no disrespect to you but that there last post is some bullsh-t. His big a-s mouth ain’t good for any body. It’s why we don’t trust him or tell them sh-t. And if you don’t have trust, you ain’t got sh-t.
I’m in sales so it won’t cost me any layoffs. But if I was a broadline worker I would be sh-----g my pants. It looks like all of the worry on Curnal Sanders should be over. His mouth may be worth the fear of dying at work. That leaky faucet of information on what’s happening is actually good for us. Keep his a-s at US Foods! I can watch my own back.
That robot distribution center is in aurora, illinois. It’s already taken some of our jobs in bensenville . But it is not called a robot warehouse. It is an automated distribution center and it can do the same as any distribution center but with a fraction of the people.I am not sure if there are any others but aurora is automated distribution and is the future of US Foods.
The robot thing is called an automated distribution center. Y’all should look it up. It is the future thing and ithey are testing it in the chicsgo area. If it goes good, and it will, they will roll it out everywhere and thousands will lose their jobs. So start taking classes or looking for a new career if y’all work in a warehouse job.
I heard that in the first months of the year but hasn’t happened yet. I didn’n hear about the automatic robots thing. Is that like a warehouse that needs less people because it is all robotic? Do we have them at US Foods?
