Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Have Xerox advised Aston Martin F1

It is incredible that as soon as Xerox sponsor the Aston Martin F1 Team their performance goes backwards.

Despite having Adrian Newey join the team, the car is at the back of the grid ahead of the 2026 season.

No doubt the CMO will be smiling and pressing the flesh at as many F1 races this year as he can.

Lovely guy.

Might even take his sons with him.

Wonder which company will get more bang out of the F1.. Apple or Xerox... Apple Maps Launches F1 Tracks Guide Ahead of 2026 Season and Apple made a F1 movie.

A sticker on car and press releases to just get free tickets for SLT is one thing. Doing things fans want to see if another thing.

The F1 helps reduce profitability of Xerox, brilliant decision

At least the sponsorship with a race car makes sense. Xerox is also going in circles never getting anywhere.

Do they really believe sponsoring AM F1is going to improve sales or service revenue ( and therefore profits ) in any way at all.

Especially as Ferrari have HUGE logos on the car, the team uniforms and the on track buildings for HP.

Today Aston Martin announced 20% of their workforce redundant, sounds a familiar Xerox story.

You couldn’t write this stuff.

@d2 it’s gross when on marketing calls with marketing folks as they ooze about the Aston Martin partnership. Waste of money. They are so tone deaf.

Why again are we sponsoring an F1 car when the entire company is losing money?
