Lau Org 2025 Employee Satisfaction Survey

Results received by Kevin, Stef & Senthil and they couldn’t be worse. Some of the worst / lowest in years.

They are trying to sweep them under the rug and write them off as people are always upset during times of change.

Kevin & Senthil called out repeatedly in comments for little to no ability to lead, motivate, communicate, arrogance, condescending behavior, etc….

They are trying their hardest to not share these results with the teams / larger organization.

If they aren’t held accountable we should stage a walkout fur a day to get CC attention.

Damage control season loading: feedback ignored like security policy reminders, ego protected like quarterly OKRs, and LinkedIn posts suddenly burying leadership and survey issues. Accountability has left the chat. Character development still buffering like their App login. Next stop: GCC. Lessons learned? None

The problems on the mobile teams are completely his doing. He knew how Senthil was treating people but chose to neglect his ICs and instead spend the majority of his efforts managing up. He is not SVP material.

Looks like Lau is warming up for an SVP badge, naturally a capable VP is about to descend from the clouds to save the mobile team… while Senthil gets a dramatic role back at MTS. Survey results must be overheating by now. Meanwhile Stephanie is pulling all to rebuild the roster with her T-Mobile and Amazon alumni at Director levels. Godspeed to all involved.

@sc Senthil’s promotion under Marcus East is a discussion for another time. Many good people in the app left during that period due to a lack of leadership. They used to have strong talent working for Kevin, including Jon, Abi, and another director of Indian background whose name I’m forgetting, when they build both mobile apps. Moving Abi back to the app team to replace Senthil might help restore leadership and stability. That said, nothing is likely to happen.

@s3 part of the problem is his arrogance. He thinks he is the smartest guy in the room. Constantly looking down on people.

His lack of accountability too. He makes promises he can’t keep than blames everyone around him for the failure. It’s never his fault.

Senthil is very similar. Senthil has had many complaints against him that fall on deaf ears.

You know how they make their numbers better?

  1. Change the questions just slightly to get your vote to change.
  2. Research the answers to root out who the "troublemakers" are, give them holy heck on a daily basis until they quit and can be replaced by a bootlicker.
