Quitting experience

Ask for those who plan to quit on their own. Did anyone quit and not serve out their 30/60 day sentence? If yes, how did you swing that and what are the possible repercussions?

@cr Last June was the first tranche of RSRs that had the clawback language for vested shares. They’re not worth the hassle to be clawed back so you’re safe.

I served out my 30 days.. maybe should have negotiated like you. It was truly miserable but did what I had to do. I had deferred comp at stake, so did not want to take a chance.

I quit and gave 2 weeks notice vs the required 60. I got a bunch of nasty emails but on my last day I emailed the HR case manager as to why I did not feel a 60 day notice was warranted. I also copied several people up that chain. My management supported my two weeks and had no problem with it. All my work had been handed off and I asked that no negative action be taken against me as I didn’t feel it was warranted. So far they have not taken any of my vested RSRs back. It’s been more than three months since I left and I’m so happy to be gone. I got to the point I didn’t care what they did and am happier having a new opportunity!
