November 19th has been confirmed as a Wednesday blood bath. Then later in the week, or the next week for a 2nd RIF round. I was told not just US staff either.

@c5 no HR I think they got rid of HR already. I was looking for two HR reps and could not find them. The meeting was very short and dry.

They're all a bunch of cowards that don't deserve to hold their positions.

SVPs are complacent and have no guts to stand up to the C suite, question the strategy etc, the digital tech leader is just an rubber stamper... bows down and caves... digital had some great things going then we just decided to fire everyone driving the bus and/or let the best ones walk, throwing all the investment in the trash. Underinvestment in legacy resources is going to lead to US being sold in peices at best.
It's started...multiples of people in D1 let go across the board....my manager is pi---d, being forced to cut good people. Contractors so far.
@cx I'm also in D1, its been quiet so far for me - Dev. But, looking out for my teammates as well.
@cs not necessarily. I was layed off in September and it was just me and my boss since many of the hr folks were also let go. Best of luck to everyone today. The anxiety of all of this is horrible.

@cr this scares the he-l outta me. We were heavily impacted by Sep layoff, 19 people including devs were let go. Now we are playing this game again.

My US-based wife was just let go today.
They don’t include HR on the meeting request.
Meeting just added to my calendar for a 15 minute meeting with my VP. Looks too coincidental to be a check-in.
I know including me multiple in the US 1 on 1s for tomorrow but no HR person in the invite. I doubt that helps.

Yup - 11/19 is the date for this month. Won't be pretty. Leaders have also been asked to provide more names for a bigger round in January.
