@d9 A psy-cho-tic post

Any founders are foreign born?

Elon Musk's grandfather was from Minnesota

Jayshree Ullal (Arista Networks) took everything from Cisco and built Arista

Cisco took everything from 3Com and Bay Networks built Cisco

I would have guessed more H1Bs end up in apartments, of which a go-zillion have gone up recently...between reduction in H1B and deportations, there might be an apartment bubble popping soon.

if you know any history on US tech firms you would know former H1B's are the backbone of tech. Period. They are not going away anytime soon. Do your research.

cheap and backbone do not go along well

as simple as that, mortgage is a guarantee backed money from government, if we dont want H1-Bs here, no mortgage will allowed to issue

No more H1B means like old times - come to US to study, get F1 visa. Find work, do training and return home.

Someone posted that Cisco has 1% of H!B employees, how is that when probably 50% of the company is Indian? Are they supposed to be all green cards that were here to begin with.
