For 2026, Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) offers Medicare Advantage plans under both the HealthSpring and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) brands, depending on the state and county.
HCSC acquired Cigna's Medicare business in March 2025 and subsequently rebranded it under the HealthSpring name. HCSC is also the parent company and an independent licensee of the Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliates in five specific states.
Plan Availability by Brand
Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans: HCSC continues to offer Medicare Advantage plans under the BCBS brand within its core states:
Illinois
Montana
New Mexico
Oklahoma
Texas
HealthSpring Plans: These plans are offered in 29 states and the District of Columbia, including many states where HCSC did not previously have a large Medicare Advantage presence. In four of the five core BCBS states, HCSC offers both HealthSpring and BCBS products, providing a variety of options. The HealthSpring brand is used for the national expansion of HCSC's Medicare offerings.

Obviously there are blue plans filed for 2026 because they’re in market for 1/1.
@cc per AI overview: "For 2026, all Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) Medicare Advantage plans are offered under the new national brand name HealthSpring. HCSC acquired Cigna's Medicare business in March 2025 and rebranded it to HealthSpring, expanding plan availability to 30 states and Washington D.C."
