Hearing from several different LOB friends that the RTO reporting is no longer being monitored. Any managers have intel on this?

@3df some people are getting let go because of location strategy, definitely.
Otherwise, you just don't see the whole picture. People lie about their reviews and profess to be not guilty. They deny that HR complaint was valid. they probably neglected to tell you about that time they totally sc--wed the pooch on the spreadsheet
@q0 so false. In our group we have seen top performers being let go left and right. If they get a number to meet from leadership, nobody is safe. The forced ranking is just there to determine "who first". Doesn't mean you are a poor performer.
Coffee badging still works :)
To stay off the report you have to keep a minimum of 7 hours. If it is anything less you’re on the list.
@p3 I've been stack ranked my whole life. Its called grading on a curve. Every company does this. Do better and you wont have to worry.
@jf I hope you get stack ranked next then.
@n6 the reporting only shows compliant or not for the hours.
I am sure i will get down voted by the bootlickers. But to stay off of the reports is way less than 8 hrs. Exactly what is, I won't share, cuz fight club, but figure it out, it is less than most think.
And ..they aren't tracking productivity or anything.. you're manager might be. But they aren't.
It took them 4 years to figure out this response to coffee badgeing.
I have seen days report which shows when I come in. I am yet to see the hours tracked.
@g0 "I was IMd for no reason" is as common as "I am not guilty, honest judge" at Rikers Island.
@c9 don't waste your time. I was IM'd and no raise for no valid reason. I Filed a dispute with HR and all they did was the politically correct BS. Never answered my 3 questions that my manager and plus one didn't They will not admit that they stacked/forced rankings. I'm done, do the minimum, can't produce for a group of liars
Why bother monitoring RTO when you can just look at logged activity from location services and Aternity?
@ca atleast you have supreme confidence in your ignorance and incorrectness
@bp average of 4 weeks is reviewed not individual day. Actually there is no option for manager to look at daily data
Are you confusing this with the Productivity Reports? The Productivity reporting is being revamped. They are not sending out data to anybody because it needs to be redone. If you were one of the people sc--wed in your ratings and with no raise in Technology because of this data? File a report with the Ethics line. It's 100% confidential. I was just told by a co-worker they are filing this week asking that all tech employees that fall in this category be reviewed. The more people that file the better.
You willing to gamble your livelihood on it?
Just got called out for being on for 7 hrs and 48 mins
Not true. Manager just showed me my stats in my monthly one on one. I’m in WIM. They are getting stricter every day. Nitpicking everything. If your manager isn’t they are usually on the list too.
I'm telling this to my peers, too. That's what stack ranking does. It's now a zero-sum hunger games and survival of the fittest competition. Some will believe me and for them they draw the "Go to Jail - Do not pass Go, do not collect $200" card.
And when I can't dunk others directly, I'll just keep doing performance theater.
It's never been a hard 8 to stay of the reports, seems like people are figuring out what the actual number to comply actually is.
Its a trap, lol
RTO metrics are now in many groups MBOs. anything in the MBO is being checked.
Maybe individual managers arent checking, but thats because someone in india is now sending an automated report with the violators.
@aa Weren’t those guys who were fired for mouse jugglers so they could tee off on Fridays?
Hasn’t that been how the boys club has been for ages? They sure haven’t been picking up the kids.
Not true, I was presented with my "In office details" (as shown on the report screen) and called out for being under. That was until I pointed out my lame-brain manager's mistake. It is real but some managers watch more than others. Aka Micro Managers, yessmen. :)
Fake troll post obviously. Op didn’t hear anything from multiple “lob friends” and everyone knows that the RTO reports are gospel around here
@aa how would you know? You leave at 1 every day.
Women leave daily at 2 to pick up their kids from school.
Do they come in at 6 everyday? Doubtful
So 50% of RTO is not met
Like this executive management team would give up a means to exert power over the workers who make the bank run.
Completely false. They are still all over them and now hours too, for the extreme situations.
There will always be “little” minds that need to snoop on employees. However, I would place my bets on the reporting be a focus when it comes to mid-year and annual review as a way to chisel away at increases
Maybe somebody somewhere isnt monitoring it but thats certainly not the norm.
Really? My one up is on those reports like stink on 💩
