Anyone have insight into when the next round starts?

Days, weeks, months?

Being laid off from this miserable company would be the biggest blessing. Free severance while u job hunt. Reward corporate and either quiet quit, FMLA/STD them to death, make them fire you and collect as much unemployment as you can or make them pay severance. Once all they have left are third party b-ms maybe theyll open their eyes and realize they’ve truly destroyed a formerly reputable company

@ky I know several employees who had the recruiter only reach out to work contact info - then because they can’t respond the application gets updated to no longer considered. I recommend folks reach out to hiring managers or have someone in a leader role help you. Recruiters are doing these employees dirty- probably not intentional but still wrong to say the least.

Well, there is no joy in aml or fraud. Down in the dumps. Burn out.

Added work after layoffs is repetitive and boring as heck.

The next round’s coming before May, and the rumors are already flying. junior hires, interns, and a whole lot of work getting shipped off to cheap 3P vendors in India. This year It’s all about cutting costs, not growing.

Layoffs aren’t just a possibility; they’re a done deal. They’ll axe people before the interns start. So that there isn't bad PR about USAA. Anyone with 10+ years of experience? They’re being nudged out the door, pushed into “voluntary” attrition so the company can pretend it’s all just natural turnover. USAA will drop you the second it’s in their best interest. They'll shower you with fake appreciation and those "we value you" emails, but as soon as you cost them a little money or slip up, you’re out the door before you can update your linkedin profile

When things go south, don’t expect a heads-up. You’ll be replaced without warning. And all those coworkers you thought had your back? They’ll be shown the door too. The whole "we’re family" rhetoric? Just fluff to keep you compliant.

Your health, your time, your well-being? Doesn’t matter to them. You’re just an expense to be cut. Don’t kid yourself, USAA isn’t your friend. And its not running any charity business and you’re just a headcount on the ledger.
What truly matters is your real life is your loved ones, your mental health. Don’t let a job drain all that away.

This isn’t General Robles USAA anymore, the company has turned ruthless when it comes to handling layoffs and those impacted. Those impacted in January were basically told to keep quiet during the 60 days or they’ll lose the severance. This girl on my team who was impacted, she was a Bank APO Lead, and she can’t even get a recruiter interview for a bank process owner I role, instant rejection with no communication from the recruiter. I know a few others this is happening to as well.

I don’t want to hear Mike Moran and his fake empathy saying USAA is supporting those impacted, because that is 1000% false.

@kr Claims Optimization people. There are way too many directors/leads from program/project management job category according to one VP who's approving all the layoffs.

Last day for FTEs impacted in January is Friday, 4/3. There will be another round soon after. Get ready for April blood bath.

From the subtle hints my AVP has dropped, April seems to be the target for another round in Bank.

Bank is currently in phase 1 of this id--tic re-org that is going to fail. Phase 1 were the layoffs end of January, phase 2 is set for Q2, so expect layoffs sometime in April.

Being that the most recent round of layoffs in January impacted over 600 FTE, and they need to be down 10% by end of year, expect another round sometime in Q2 & a final one by end of year.

I know a few people who were impacted this last round, and USAA is treating them like they’ve been fired, instant rejections on job postings, recruiters purposely sending interview request to their work email, knowing full well they have no access.

USAA, you reap what you sow in this world.
