I'm carrying the team while three people next to me do nothing. Hard work isn't rewarded here. So why am I still ki-ling myself?

@c7 What price, peace of mind? Well fu--ing done!
@aw Let it break. I think I know this leader. He left sadly.
The rest of my team quit in the span of a few days. Instead of being willing to discuss prioritization and redistribution of work, our incompetent manager told me I needed to do it all now, including things the manager was capable of doing. No, there was not going to be any change in compensation, and this manager had sc--wed over most team members the prior year during performance reviews. Manager seemed shocked when I gave notice during that meeting.
This is not how normal companies operate. OT and its bootlicking managers will abuse you until you have nothing left to give, then kick you to the curb. Protect yourself. Never believe claims that you will be rewarded later for "stepping up" now. You won't be.
I recently got to the same point. Engineer + security advocate + oss + licensing + threat models + compliance + security scans + some devops for my team. Finally had enough. I start a new job next week
Sad part is all of OT leadership is too stupid to know how to do a single thing to resolve it once it "breaks". The "let it break" method only works at real companies. OT is a colossal joke and ao is the leadership.
@OP
Years ago, I went to my mentor with a similar problem...his advice was simple and to the point: "Let it break" ..Only then will Mgmt see it, up to them if they want to address it.
Don't ki-l yourself, do your job and set clear boundaries with those slackers.
@OP they count on people like you to keep the tech Ponzi scheme going. Things won’t change until the doers stop doing and expose this.
