Expecting layoffs due to government shut down. Certainly furloughs should be starting soon.

1600 furloughed at the Kansas City National Security campus today-no government money coming in!
If they know you want to leave they will never VRIF you. If you dont want it, then you will get it. Make sense?
If you are wanting to leave, Honeywell will not lay you off. They will outwait you. BTDT and had to leave on my own. Best decision that I have ever made.
@c6 happy to leave today if they would approve VRIF. That’s the problem, the minute that email goes out, at least 100 multi-decade (many into 4 decades) will leave, and frankly, the rest of you aren’t qualified to carry our brief case in for us. I have clearly offered only to be told by my boss that mine will get approved after theirs.
HW needs to clean house with so many multi decade people hanging on until retirement.
