Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

December layoffs

Are we safe this month or is that too much to ask for? Does T usually have layoffs in December?

It's hard to imagine the company would layoff employees around Christmas. Totally unheard of.

Safe? Lol. You must be new here. There are constant rolling layoffs every 3 months or so. You, being new, are at the greatest risk

OP has to be a new hire!!
If you are management then get ready to take in d_rear!
The stank can do whatever they want with you whenever they want, doggy ,missionary, whatever!!
If your bargained for you will get a notice by the 15th of December per the CWA contract you would have till March to be off the books!
This is in your bargained for union book!
That's why you don't become management until your ready to bounce!!

T has layoffs EVERY month…T doesn’t take a layoff break just because of the holidays.

OP— you must be new.

Just keep paying your union dues everyone. The CWA will have a great Christmas season, unfortunately you will not.

December 15th Bloomington Minnesota office closing announcement is planned per post last month here on this reliable and credible site. Most of us are hoping this actually happens because we're so $ick of this $chitt and we just want the nice termination package we have per our Leg T contract before we get f ucked in four months.
