Obviously, none of us REALLY know what is going to happen. BUT, what do you think the chances are: for those who choose to apply for their offer – that, Centene turns around and denies the submission of interest, and/or comes back and says: just kidding, we want to offer you less!? – I am 99.99% just overthinking and stressing, but I am still curious on what the thoughts of others might be regarding this matter.

@cyThat is a very good question, as I am actually a part of a specialized team. However, I have no answer right now. This entire situation has put me in a paralyzing state of anxiety. I have dedicated nine years to this role—most of which I have really enjoyed—but now, it is just so stressful and I am just so tired of the chaos.
How does this work when certain states have specialty plans with contracts to uphold to by AHCA?
@bz I do have a tendency to overthink things - I appreciate your rational perspective.
My opinion is you are overthinking it.
1) I think they want the right to reject if entire teams decide to take the offer. They want the option to ensure business continuity if this happens.
2) I don’t think they will offer you less. The number in the estimate was based on your salary at a point in time. In the rare cases where a salary increased since then due to promotion or equity increase, it would adjust. On the flip side, some people are on an unpaid leave and their bonus amount wouldn’t be accurate because it would be based on actual earnings through August. It’s just a disclaimer for a few edge cases.
Depends. I think the mission is to flatten the org, it’s all the rage now in Tech companies, and it’s spreading rapidly.
