Money coming doesn't look very good, so Intel has to do more with less.
My manager doesn't know many details except that it's coming. Too low in the chain to be privileged with more details.

@d6 look at the state of the company. I has been in a continual decline for over a decade. Do you really believe what management tells you? They will tell you what ever they think you want to hear. At this point in the decline if you are gullible enough to believe them than you deserve to get blindsided. Plan for the worst, it has a higher probability of happening.

A few people laid off here and there does not indicate a mass scale layoff again. It is just housecleaning.

We have clear pass down that no HC reduction planned at broader level, even Dave also mentioned the same, if any small layoff happens that will most likely revolve around BE rating given this year or trimming any business. For folks who have got BE this year , they should start looking outside asap , unfortunately this corporate culture has become very cruel…
