Those who were laid of at the start of the month stop coming in tomorrow, right? I don't understand why you'd force people to stay after they've been laid off (I know I wouldn't be productive for sure) but maybe that wisdom will come with age, who know. In any case, good luck folks.

@h9 You must be office-based to get 60 days notice. Remote only get 20 days.
I too was let go on Sept/02, but my last day was told as Nov/03 ?
How come ?
Others that I know let go on the same day have Sept/22 as their last day.
Why this difference ?
Still no separation packet in my inbox. The day is young though.
Btw, I found out that today is there, it was just posted as a comment instead of a new topic.
@bx Who knows, but it is not like they get paid to do it or have any obligation to post it. Maybe they just got tired of it? However, it will be more interesting to see the moves on days where it is likely garden leave is over for many people, so it makes little sense to stop now.
@bw I wonder why it was not posted today in the morning. It has been so regular reported here since last weeks. Was he/she suddenly laid off?
Waiting for the Slack channel numbers poster to see if there will be any big moves in numbers, unless they also got RIF'd.
Btw, in my European country layoffs are from month to month, meaning if I was laid off I would be gone on the last day of the month. Dunno if there are differences in other countries though.
For US employees who were riffed and put on garden leave starting in August, Monday tomorrow is the last day as O employees. Final pay should be direct deposited on Monday.
Last day of… what? There was mentioned that the next round is coming in the begining of October. Hurricane Larry is still in forecast.
