Does anyone know when would EMEA tech will be told about the apparent lay-offs?
As EMEA is on different timeline!

IMHO It's not about Poland, it's about "if it doesn't work in WHQ, then PTC/ITC/EHQ there is no difference"
It seems, suggestion to move GT work to Poland hit some nerves.
@bt absolutely agree with you, in the past 7 years I have witnessed so may lay-offs , so many re-orgs, so many time strategy changes. The execs are sharing the vision but no path , no plan of action to get there.
There is absolutely no breather for business or tech to acclimate to these changes, how do you think there will be accountability
I hope that 2026 re-org at least bring some stability and stop the execs from sharing their multiple vision and make us dizzy/crazy!!

Outsourcing is always more expensive. Is selling your soul for short term savings. We need more quality not less, more accountability not less, more ownership not less. Some things make sense, like if a well defined project, but how many of them ever are? At best ya’ know 15% of the requirements and need to go determine the rest. Lack of business knowledge in tech, and lack of business knowledge in the business- that is what’s dragging us down and making us slow. Need more experience, more SME types - and (blankety-blank-blank) go after all the time su-ks - the admin overhead, data quality, bad processes, teams dumping on each other with no regard for what it costs Nike ——- accountability—— that is the missing ingredient. Way too many teams massively f’up, are not held accountable, then copy-paste the same cr-p over & over.
EMEA GT (including DAI) is always praised for value delivery by EMEA business. Good tech, quality delivery can never replace the problem solving acumen. The close proximity of EMEA GT with EMEA business, the rapport helps understand the problem statement and check if the solution works.
if Poland based team can elevate the delivery so then India based, infact for Nike, India would be cheaper cost wise than Poland
If your suggestions is valid @b7 then entire EMEA tech, including Poland, should be replaced by India based team, given the proximity and willingness of ITC based team is much more than Europe based team. What say?
Entire EMEA GT should be replaced with Poland based team. Much better quality and delivery.
