This sounds exactly like my old leader. Clinical ops process improvement associate Director, worked her way up by saying yes and st-----g male egos and bobbing her head. She traumatizes associates to the point they get sick or leave. Evil lives at Humana.
My leader seems dedicated to micro-managing to the extreme!! Not to say these are highly skilled and experienced professionals. He/she will make things worse, set up people for failure, then create management work for himself/herself!! The very root cause of toxic culture from bottom up!!! Favoritism backing them up. HR with a "facemask" protecting associates, are entirely on their side too!! Star associates will be managed to poor performers. That's the current Humana culture!! Star rating will keep falling as Humana is an open book in the social media world. Everyone can see it!!
@OP - they seemed to have become more Caring about the dollar, Curious about how to make more and drop employee and member benefits and Committed to AI than human beings and healthcare.
No, Humana is not falling apart yet , may its Employees are falling apart till the contractors show up to work ! lol
