Good cop bad cop reputation management HR bot responses below.
The truth of the matter is - those terminated by Cigna were judged on metrics that are illegal to track. We all signed arbitration agreements that were presented to us by Cigna in a manner that made it seem like nothing important at the time and made it seem like it was optional but it really was a requirement of employment with Cigna. Predatory and illegal. Not to mention, they have the immigrants and their families by the b*lls so no worry of an uprising / lawsuit from all those H1B losers. Talk about Americans are under attack huh. If you aren't feeling this yet, you will.
I'm just curious if the people that do the monitoring of the real workers (those that do work for a living, not just monitor & negotiate against the worker's best interests) at Cigna and all folks in Human Resources - do you think they know the reaper will come for them too?
I’ll probably always be bitter because of the way it was handled, and the fact that the only reason I was let go was age. After a few months I decided to change careers all together. Doesn’t pay nearly as much but benefits and job satisfaction is 1000% better than the toxic culture left behind.
I was eliminated in Feb and just landed my dream job. I would never have left on my own so my JE was the gift I didn't know I needed. I'm sad about what has become of the company I once loved so much, but not bitter in the least. If you're on the fence about leaving - don't be. The grass really is greener.
@cz Everyone that I met at ESI and especially those from Medco were phenomenal and wonderful people.
However, original Evicore has been passive aggressive awful people that think they are better than everyone.
Sad that the company has lost its vision. Medco was a great company. Express Scripts was pretty good. Cigna wasn’t bad initially but things have changed for the worse since the end of Covid. Somewhat bitter that the whole job market su-ks and Cigna could care less.
what a bunch of cr-p, bot responses. i want to hear from real people lol. HR get off this website - you have lives to ruin.
@bp that’s great to hear. That’s my backup plan too. I also heard instacart was good too
Oh no. Please keep going.. I started door dashing and enjoy it… no stress only stress is finding the apartment buildings :-/. I only do it part time maybe 10 hrs total..I made almost a $1k in 1 wk… I was shocked and pleasantly surprised.. pack your lunch so you don’t spend any many while Dashing. It’s not like my pay was at Cigna but it keeps money coming in! If you can try dashing or Uber Eats or dog walking. Stay strong. This too shall pass! 🫶
@aj @aj Please don't give up. There are many great companies out there and you will find one. It may take more patience, but they are there and you'll eventually land something.
CI is the worst-case option. They've descended to a horrible level and one that I believe will change, over time, but could be several years away.
Over the short-term, keep trying to land something to keep the lights on. Over the longer-term, position yourself to be an attractive hire by the better companies. They really exist and they really want great employees.
You're going to get through this.
I've been JE'd on 2/19 and I have not landed a job yet. I'm just about to give up. Whether I get hit by a bus and become disabled or I bid farewell to this messed up world - either one of those is bound to happen to me soon. I put in 700+ applications and leveraged AI in my resume overhaul & applications but it hasn't done anything for me. Should I get hired for something that will actually keep my basic bills paid (even if just barely) I will consider sticking around on this side of the grass for a bit longer.
