What’s going on with Legacy T techs? Big changes to Schedules, Reporting Locations, End of home dispatch for critical infrastructure crews? They giving up on business services? Contracts also up next year.

Maybe keep this thread going as more BS and changes happen to us. I heard some guys have been already been reporting to the office where a specials manager and specials techs are at.
Mike and Kevin sitting in an office making it harder for the people who actually work. They will be gone soon.
This all because of Grant and his little miserable MSOC buddies that are busy stealing from the company while accusing everyone else of doing the same.
@ec
F that!
THEY are the ones that took our on call away. THEY are the ones that took our home garaging away. THEY are the ones F’ing our customers to wait for the next business day for a tech dispatch. THEY are the ones trying to get us to quit. THEY are the ones that are running this into the ground.
WE are the ones on a sinking ship.
Thanks Mr. Gr@nt for showing the customer facing techs in the field, actually doing the work, how much you care and respect us.
Blub, blub, blub….
@a7 "Don’t you have a union forum you can ask this sh1t on??"
Don’t you have an RTO forum you can ask this sh1t on??
“ good luck with getting a taker for a call out.”
Needs of the business
Followed by claims of insubordination will do the trick.
Another way to get the older techs. Ending home dispatch got our top senior to retire early in 2026.
Su-ks for those brought a home "on your route", and now have long commutes to an office. First boss pushed for home dispatch, since I lived on my route and coverage area started an hour from the yard.
Since techs will be leaving company equipment at the office, good luck with getting a taker for a call out.
There have been rumors of selling this off to Verizon. Probably hogwash but it has been mentioned. They mostly just want you to quit.
Ding ding ding. Winner winner chicken dinner.
You will be overworked now until you quit or kick the bucket. They don’t want to pay you severance and they’re not going to. They’ll continue making your life harder until you leave on your own.
Mgmt has us on 24/7 coverage tours and with solo tech tours working alone from Friday afternoon to Monday morning with no backup plan when someone calls personal or sick time. Brilliant idea
