@sr Ignorance is Bliss. Keep your head in the sand.
@ge You’ve got to be dense. If they want to reduce labor costs they will just eliminate roles. You’re acting like Pep will hold a role for you if cheap labor is unavailable. Be real.
@cd Good that you notice the root cause. What are you can to do with that??? Nothing. If H1B goes away. The greed will focus on harder stuff than resources. I don’t want to go to deep in this one. Take away the easy option and focus on the root cause of the problem and not bringing in cheap labor.
@ca the root cause of layoffs is not Indians. The root cause would be the greedy shareholders that continue to want “more”. If your revenue is X and expenses are Y, the company is always going to try to widen that gap. Laying people off is unfortunately the quickest and easiest way to cut expenses. So no, the root cause is not the Indians, it’s your c-suite executives who walk away with millions while everyday people get tossed to “save” money. In short, greed is your root cause.
@bj Do you know the root cause or cause/effect of the layoffs? Until you recognize the source, you cannot fix the problem.
@a4 I say tariff those services. Make it as painful as possible.
So is this site about layoffs or your dislike towards Indians?
But it won't peg the long game these indians are playing with the offshoring hubs that mitigates entire h1b setup.
Until trump hits Indians offshoring nothing will change. 50% corporate tax on revenue from offshore hubs. This Indian corporate hijacking must be called for what it is.
Finally, AI (All Indians) holding H1B Visa will be phasing out!
