I shared with my manager before about what our site knows about the displacement timeline (month) and now Manager keeps asking me for displacement updates (asking if we will we get a working or non-working notice). Shouldn't managers know that!? AWKWARD and pathetic.

Managers are often not in the loop on displacements. They might be getting the axe as well, and even if not, a lot of times they aren't informed until the day prior to the event.
