Nike employment terminated

Recently got my employment terminated at Nike. I was working as a contractor ETW at Nike. My vendor called me and told me that my contract got terminated due to HR policy violations. This is because as I am a remote employee I went to Nike office occasionally. But I don’t have an active badge. My badge was expired long back. Also, I got a call from local police saying that not to enter Nike property. Anyone saw this kind of stuff happening?

There is some serious BS yo this story. Being terminated for violating Nike policy and the cops being involved would make me very angry and I would be requesting back up documentation and ask the police for a copy of the police report. If my employer wouldn’t provide anything and you can’t get info from the cops then this is bullsh-t and my next call is to an employment attorney.

Too many holes in this story.

Get a green polo, black Nike hat, and a walkie talkie and you can pretty much go anywhere on the Nike campus.

I call bs. My husband works on campus all the time and is not an employee at all. Just likes to hang with me.

You shouldn't have complained about the ATC baby

None of this makes sense. You were a remote Nike ETW, with an expired badge, but the badge still worked and you would use it to access restricted Nike areas? Badges get disabled.

You were doing something else you should not have been doing. Partial story here.

@ba

have not bypass any turnstile and only used my badge to enter Nike buildings.

If we assume the story is as you tell it, and if the the police got involved you clearly got accused of something you definitively need to find out what is it.

There is definitely a lot more to this story. I doubt anyone would care about just being "on" campus, it's about going in the buildings. Since they all have turnstiles, I'm guessing you used some method to bypass them (sharing badge or going through with two people at a time). All of that gets recorded by video at every turnstile and is very different than just showing up in the parking lot

The T in ETW is Temporary. As in not permanent.

I would ask the temp agency to get more specifics.

I would be surprised if the local police department told you not to enter Nike property for just a failure to show up the required number of days. Sounds way more serious than you are letting on.

Temp agency is telling me that “HR policy violations”. It is a very vague statement.

You were never a Nike employee, nor employed by Nike. I would reach out to your temp agency
