@as any chance you know the time of day these calls will happen ?
More layoffs and the stock continues to stumble. Hint, Hint Johnny boy. Your strategy isn't working and soon you'll be out of good employees
They dont really cut. They just move you over to a contractor in 6 months. The company has so many ex-employees as contractors right now.
Bring it on. Just cut 40% now and move on
Depends if they count the day of notification or not. If they don’t count the day, then the 16th will be notification date. If they count the day of notification as Day 1, then the 17th is the date, They give you 10 business days and they want your last day to be the final day of June so off payroll by July 1st.
@as Volunteered and it's going to be the best day ever!
@ca it’s in HROneStop. Do a Severance search. Btw, it’s 6 months of base salary (no company bonus) for management 13+ years
@ag
They should have just lied and used the extra 7 months to find another job.
Weird choice for what is likely at most 1-2 months of severance.
@as What is the severance package for management employee with 14 years of service?
If you got your access cut off a few weeks back, get ready.
Fridays Studies have statistically shown that there's less chance of an incident if you do it at the end of the week.
@b6 The 6/16 date with off payroll 7/1 is to provide 10 day notice. The current reduction is to meet a second quarter deadline.
Change your mindset about the date. Don't think of it as a negative. If impacted, you can celebrate the years you've had at AT&T. If you are an older employee, you will probably have enough years to get additional money for a small retirement dinner.
@OP 6/17 based on role , ai, ratings which are subjective. There are many protected by politics and may not adhere to standards leadership is wanting but the brown nosers seem to get a pass as usual. The IT organization is a mess under the Legg organization particularly Baich and Press.
I don’t think HR can handle 13000 layoffs in 2 weeks. I suspect it’ll be in stages but who knows.
The 6/15 date is just directional for the middle of the month. It will be on the Friday before or after.
I don’t understand the confusion around the notification dates for this one.
Historically, that has always been done on a Friday.
So I would think that would be 6/12 or 6/19. But no one seems to think those dates are in the mix?
Notification is 6/17 per HR (no sooner or later).
You will receive a call and then surplus notification letter immediately after or during the call.
A script will be read, all questions will be directed to the link provided in your letter.
Please take your 14 days to look for a new job outside the company. All employees will receive the severance package your years of service support.
6/31 is the target date.
I know several people who received a relocation letter at the end of May (Legg Organization) with an off-payroll date of 7/1 if they said no. If they agree to move, they have until Jan 2027 to relocate. All of them have declined and will be leaving on 7/1. Very sad.
Si’
6/16 notification. 10% across the board.
What gave you that insight? One of the multiple posts already about that date and subject?
6/16 is the date
Notification is 6/17
