Please file an OSHA complaint today - Please read

Hello Everyone -

There is not much we can do as employees to make our situation better. But, the one of the things we can and should do is file an OSHA complaint with OSHA. Please everyone reading submit an OSHA complaint today, but only if there is a safety hazard at your location. You can select an option so your name is not revealed to your employer.

If there is a legitimate safety hazard at your location, then you can fill out their online form and OSHA will take it from there. Lack of parking or reasonable access to the office building can all be taken as a form of a safety violation because it increases the risk of vehicle and pedestrian accidents. Your statements must be truthful, and there are penalties for submitting anything false.

Once submitted, OSHA will do an on-site inspection (often unscheduled) of the building you reported within weeks or months. If they find any safety hazards they take several escalating actions including citations, penalties, required corrective action, re-inspection, and whistleblower protection.

I have just submitted an OSHA complaint for 7 safety hazards I documented at 3400 W Plano Pkwy in Plano, TX. I encourage everyone reading this to please do this for your office if there are safety hazards and parking issues. This is the quickest way to get some noticeable change in our god awful buildings we call our offices.

Please like this post, and tell others either by word or on this site to do the OSHA as well. If multiple employees submit complaints to OSHA, that will put AT&T on their radar, and they would love to go after a Fortune 50 company that is being negligent.

I'd venture to say that the CDC would be the more appropriate agency to perform any 3400 investigations, lol. My sympathies go out to the janitors. It's bad enough having to use the facilities and common areas, much less having to clean them up.

@d5 Level 7 Here.

Meet me in my office and we will collaborate your idea. I like your idea, but I would like to make changes to it. Again, let's sync up in my office and we will see if we can implement 996, starting 10/31. When you stop by and I am not in my office, I am probably at Costco but will be back soon to discuss with you. Bring your Level 9 to the meeting too. Peace.

Level 7 Here.

I love to see that everyone is collaborating and attempting to fix an issue. Job well done. When the submission is done, please RTO back to the office and work at least 8 hours. I am evaluating if we need to work 996 so we can increase OUR stock price to the high 80's. Let's setup a meeting and bring idea to the table, ok? Peace.

@b6 Lack of parking can be taken as a safety hazard if dozens of cars park improperly outside of designated areas, which increases the likelihood of a car or pedestrian accident. If the visibility from the improperly parked cars reduces visibility, and increases blind spots then it is a safety concern which OSHA will address.

Parking is not a violation. People working at airports, universities, hospitals take shuttles to their blogs daily. Even retail workers have to park in back of lot saving close spots for customers.
GRE has a site to report RTO issues.

@a3 “If I found out you pulled that you would be terminated on the spot.”

And that would be retaliation, and my early retirement package after my lawsuit!

Just submitted an OSHA complaint for my office. Each one submitted gets investigated and they do an on-site inspection and impose fines if there are violations found. I encourage everyone to submit one today - but only if it applies to your office and there are real safety violations.

You do know how they solve these issues right? They will close the location and sell the property if they own it or just send the bill to the landlord if they sold the building and leased it back. In Plano I would assume the problem is you are applying the safety and health standards of the wrong country.

COs are loaded with exposed compromised asbestos. Start there. Company has been well aware for decades and does not address health and safety issues

AT&T is well aware of the safety hazards and wont do anything about them. They are completely negligent. So the OSHA is a good start. Additionally, your identity is legally protected under federal whistleblower laws, and OSHA keeps it confidential by default in such cases.

Also, if you are not in Dallas - get your butts here or you will be surplussed soon!

Conspiring to harm the company? Why not be an adult and address your grievances in the light of day through proper channels?

Everyone in this world know how crowded and pathetic situations were in January, still people fired for not being in office for 9 hours and no one could do anything. So, nothing going to happen. Keep working until you are not let go.

Don't listen to the re--rds below that are bootlickers of their supervisors and Stankey. Just submit the OSHA complaint. All these bootlickers anyways are eventually going to be surplussed.

@OP I don’t understand your thought process here ? Are you so angry and petty that you would wait for in your words weeks or months “ before they show up, putting co workers in harms way. If I found out you pulled that you would be terminated on the spot. Get over it , the rto debate is dead , you and your complaining cronies lost.

Did you report these issues to your supervisor and local CRE group before going external to OSHA? You should be terminated if not trying to handle locally first.
