Thread regarding TIAA (TIAA-CREF) layoffs

@ce Dude 60 days is only 8 weeks meaning those with 4 years of service or less (making under 100K). So that would be a small number of layoffs to “free up space in Charlotte” like the first responder said.

@ce May depend on the state but it is the number of layoffs primarily. In CO the were a large number of folks who got 2 months to a full years severance salary from the closure and there was a warn for every associate for that wave.

@bj warn not required if severances pay 60 days worth of salary.

Yup, can confirm. I’ve heard the number between 100-200. Specifically Charlotte campus as they look to RTO 5 days a week so they can have enough space for everyone…. Brace yourselves.
