Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Typically there are significant re-orgs with some layoffs every June. I can't see why that wouldn't happen this year because they do so every year.

@b3 I was able to leave last year on my own, so no severance package but I got work in another industry that I love. However, I was very, very lucky. I originally got RIF several years ago from Oracle and came back. I didn't realize when I left the purge that was coming so I just happened to get out before it was too late. Best of luck and hang in there

@az Dude, I am in EMEA and want this sh-t show to be over as soon as possible. I want to get RIFed and not PIPed to get fired or to quit myself without severance.

@a2 what a horrible thing to say. Yes, EMEA is coming, don't worry. Yiu do not have to be without compassion though.

After March 31st, they are monitoring and will take more action if they deem it necessary. Wait for the next 10-K to actually find out how many were let go.

Let them execute EMEA first, please.
But, next wave probably in September.
