Heard moving to off shore associates. Not just contractors but actual associates working offshore. Anyone else heard of this? I openings just a rumor.

@ac yes, I agree as well to the post below. @ac, who cares if people use AI or other forms, such as Chat gbt to assit with their writing skills, that's what is freaking there for, we all know it and use it, so stop pointing it out. KNOW ONE CARES IF SOMEONE USES CHAT GBT OR AI TO ASSIST THEM WITH WRITING, so stop pointing it out. We know already and we ALL use it and love it BTW. @eg Every company these days uses offshore workers. We may not like it but that’s the reality.
If the customers complain and can’t get the services they need, that’s when we’ll see change. This company’s leadership only cares about money. Unhappy customers = less profits and less executive bonuses.

Humana will offshore 90% of non patient facing jobs to maximize profits. Nurses in the Philippines make 1/10th of what those in the US do, and most UM and CM departments will eventually move the jobs there. There ate three main vendors and that is not changing. The bulk of OP UM is done in the Philippines. Provider disputes, claims reviews and now appeals all off shored in addition to 90% of outpatient UM and soon to be Inpatient UM. Centralization of UM is a precursor to offshore inpatient.

If the messaging true and factual, isn’t that all that really maters???
And besides, isn’t AI supposed to be the next best thing since sliced bread? At least until your job is affected and then suddenly a person’s perspective changes.
Same applies to when people lose their jobs to all of the H-1B Visa holders and also jobs being outsourced overseas.

Just got off RIF call. They mentioned moving jobs off-shore as a reason for the RIF. Definitely not a rumor.
