Several on my team received invites for 10am call today - no agenda. Peer was informed a few teams are moving offshore. They are only keeping a few leaders on a few more weeks to shift the work to OGS. WHY is this continuing to happen??? How can so many people keep losing their jobs? The ‘new’ jobs posted online are bogus & aren’t being filled. Don’t waste your time applying. It’s all smoke & mirrors. SMDH

UHC has a major Reorg in April. That's dog whistle for layoffs. Keep your unemployment applications ready.
Because offshore is cheaper. Whether the work actually gets done or is quality doesnt matter anymore it seems. Oh well its coming for every area and department across UNH.

@b6 even India is too expensive for Optum, its all going to the Philippines. Try calling the service desk, ALL in PH

Work in OI tech - several laid off today.
Manager said customer service & several ops positions were also impacted today. :( Now to find work…
