Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I was let go on Friday. Feeling so calm and relaxed after ages..gave more than 15 years to the company to be taken out in worst possible circumstances. I am thankful for my earlier years of career at wells but past few years have been worst than sh*tshow.

Implicitly scheduling layoffs for a specific day biweekly always struck me as something of a security risk, anyway. I try to stay out of the office on layoff days in case someone decides to go Kaczynski

@ax nobody said that just because you're in a core city, you won't get laid off.

@ax CIC yes Brevard is a leased building signed right before Covid before WF got the Duke building back.

The off shore teams have been planning out automating US roles where they can, core locations won’t matter for layoffs now.

@av
I thought Brevard and CIC were core locations?
Now chainsaw is just cutting everywhere? And was it layoff or termination?

What better day for the cutting. Gives one more day of freedom from the sh-tshow.
