Does any company really pay taxes anyway? The consumer pays them as they are embedded in the fees.

Actually, I read that was on their funds generated overseas. And a lot of companies choose to leave those profits offshore so they don’t have to pay taxes on it when they bring it back. If anything, it tells you the government should reduce that particular tax rate so companies choose to repatriate those dollars and invest them domestically.
