US-headquartered Truist Financial plans to set up a tech centre in Hyderabad, and has floated a tender for firms to set it up and initially manage it. Infosys, a Truist vendor, is likely to bid for the contract pegged at least $250 million. The centre aims to hire 3,000 employees over five years.

@2z - It's a harsh reality. A clear display of American capitalism in action. I've emphasized this time and time again: in the world of corporate America, self-preservation is essential.
If you’re fortunate enough to hold a full-time position rather than working as a contractor, count your blessings. Contractors are often treated as expendable and are the first to face the consequences when cost-cutting measures come into play.
For full-time employees, it's crucial to understand and navigate the unwritten rules of the corporate landscape. Avoid putting anything in writing that could later be used against you in a legal context. At the same time, maintain detailed records of interactions and decisions, particularly those that might provide leverage or give you the upper hand in a lawsuit in the event of termination. Thorough documentation can be a powerful asset should you ever need to defend yourself or pursue legal action.
VERY SAD!!!! Truist bank abrubtly terminated contract of several vendors on 4-Oct-2025 without any notice to the contractors directly or from the vendor organizations. Contractors came to know only after they access got blocked at 5pm EST while there is no official new. Its disccussed around 500-700 contractors got terminated abrubtly. Its rummoured contracting vendors include Infosys, Cognizant etc.
While this has happened last week i am not sure about the above new can work or not.
Call it what it is. Anti American business practices.
@ap come over to India.
The bank wants half of the workforce to be offshore. This is a major step towards that goal.
Building better lives and communities…in India.
Just as the TACO intended. No immigration, just hire them in their own country.
@op - Will be acquired by a big bank soon.
