I work in a CEC and I just got an email for a meeting with my director tomorrow. A big group of us got that email to be exact, should I worry this is a layoff convo??!

Okc kept 20/40+ coaches. Today was my last day.

So we have had a lot of coaches and some TMs get let go at the augusta site. The remaining coaches are going to be given a new title and there will be a new structure at the site overall. No ACs were laid off. Associate coaches. They are hourly. More will know tomorrow if they are laid off from our site. It was also confirmed in the leader meeting that whole sites have been closed. They basically told all of us that some of us are being laid off, in the general meeting, and that we would be called afterwards for our termination call on what to expect. I’m sorry everyone. No one here was suspecting it. I was because of call routing and volume and i am surprised no one else was.

The Augusta site received emails for all leadership today. All of them are looking at each other wondering what’s going on right now. Some of y’alls sites are getting them tomorrow. most likely I’m assuming the centers getting them today might be the ones getting laid off. The ones are just to update the remaining sensors of the carnage and what’s going to happen moving forward. I am Frontline representative. I take calls. I don’t have anything in my calendar for organizational update and no email myself. We have had a lot of availability at our site and I was checking where the calls were coming from and they were coming from the overflow queue. They were not coming from our own area and most of our calls have been calls from retail. These are also misrouted calls cause they called rsl and got to us. So I am highly worried this will be an entire site lay-off and we could just be logged out of our phones after leadership gets the message, even though I didn't fet an org update or any kind of email.

@b0 at my site all coaches tms and acs received the email and each meeting is 30 min apart from each other starting with the tms first then coaches then acs
@az where is this info coming from? Are you saying all coaches and TMs or the majority of them? I would be surprised to see multiple sites being shut down

There is an extremely high chance it is a layoff meeting. That is exactly what TFB went through last week, except it was for a meeting invite sent in the morning for that same day. Lots of people on the invite and our Director was the only one speaking. Wishing you all the best of luck.
@a2 That’s pretty much all of leadership for CEC frontline, what’s in it for the reps? Bigger teams with less support maybe?
@as they are paid less than coaches. OPEX saving is the driving factor is what it feels.
Any insight…hearing Salem and Kingsburg are shutting down entire sites?!?! I hate the rumor mill but has anyone heard anything?
Funny because the ACs (assistant coaches) are actually more useful than 90% of the coaches and team managers at my site.

What I've heard from multiple people o know within the CECs is this meeting is happening nationwide. Meeting for Team Managers is at 11 am CST followed by Coaches at 1130 am CST.

I also just got an email from my director, asking to be in a meeting. Not typical for the director to send out meeting makers… but it does state in person only. Jesus take the wheel!

Hearing some (maybe 1 or 2) sites are closings. Others are (potentially) moving to a slimer leadership structure. No site directors. Sr directors will oversee multiple sites. Only one Sr mgr per site, less coaches and ACs as a result.
