@rr Office Space.
Who is Pam?
@m0 can you please elaborate ! I wanna ask was it stressful ?
The role, as currently designed, does not effectively cultivate high caliber sales professionals and may instead reinforce underperformance rather than drive improvement.
needs about 0 skills. like Pam in the Office
like somebody else mentioned here. it's sales so pretty straightforward. That said, it is extremely grindy and you deal with executives that are out of touch with the situation on the ground. every top level management decision is made on a whim based off of over analyzed data.
KPI's are intense here and if you miss them you're thrown on a PIP promptly
@ep I average a little over 300k/yr in this role
@aj gives you the reality.
@aj could u explain a bit more in detail on their day to day, I know there will be a training program but Im curious as to when I am in my own how it would be, the typical 9-5 and work life balance and work environment , especially in roundrock
@dh were u working that job? how much money were you making ? was it enough to just support yourself?
It's sales, if you have no other skills and can take a phone call and create a quote, you have a shot. That's it, that's all it takes in that profession
Flooded with hundreds, often over a thousand accounts. So basically spending most of the time creating quotes, with minimal to no real business conversations with partners and customers.
At Dell? Fu--ing terrible, like every other role experience. You'd be better off shoveling sh-t in a horse stable.
