@16t it’s called a soft layoff.

@13h Listen bud, a hub is a hub is a hub. Maybe you’re too much of a pu$$y to do what would be best for you but I’m not and have been doing it for 2 years. Good luck telling me that I can’t go to one hub over another. Why is it a hub if we aren’t allowed there? You realize how d-mb you sound?
Then why were so many impacted by FTW even though they were already in a HUB? Bothell / Middletown?
ALL:
The assigned location is the address on the employee webphone account. Not reporting to this location is an RTO violation which could result in termination and NOT surplus.
Of course, there are exceptions (reporting to any HUB location other than assigned location) if approved by top management.
Let us know how it goes after 6/15 surplus day.
I know people who have never reported to their assigned location. They've survived this long.

Again. The RULE is for YOU to report to your assigned location. Check with your supervisor. YOU cannot make up your OWN rules.
@zv what’s not fair? It’s a hub office…
Maybe you are one of those who are not reporting to your assigned office location? This is not fair to those that do.
We'll see in the next surplus round if your "assumptions" are correct.
Just go to whatever office you prefer. The reason this was added was a fear tactic and nothing else. There is nothing actionable about it... Good luck to the company trying to find grounds to terminate someone for going to the office 5 days a week, assigned or not. As long as it’s a hub office with people it doesn’t matter even a little bit.
That's the whole point of "NEW Presence Report Field and Assigned Location Badged In Tracker". Target those in violation. Surplus is a better outcome and worse outcome is termination.
@wa , are you in outside sales? Do folks in your org travel to client sites?
Several folks in my org have been going to multiple office locations for about a year now. No actions have been taken against them. What gives?
True.
"They are NOT building a surplus list from that data. They are terminating. If this were true all the folks that want to retire and are just waiting on a surplus offer to do so would be WFH frequently to get on the list. Don’t believe this will get you severance. This will get you canned."
“ an office is an office there’s no collaboration when it’s all on teams anyway. Go wherever you like. “
1000% incorrect.
You’re assigned a particular office for a reason. That is the office you are supposed to be reporting to, and the one that they will hold you accountable for compliance to the policy. Go ahead and downvote, anyone with a brain understands these are the rules.
Sure do whatever you want. Just be prepared for the ramifications.
@m6 an office is an office there’s no collaboration when it’s all on teams anyway. Go wherever you like. It makes no difference as long as you have 6+ hours per day
You could act like you know what you're talking about OR you can go to their website and actually read the FAQ's. Its in their IF you're a market employee.
Sorry.
You're understanding of the RTO FAQ is incorrect. Don't make up your OWN rules.
The rule is that YOU report to your assigned office location. Period.

Read the FAQ's. If you have a market based occupancy indicator it says you need to be in your assigned office the majority of the time.
So if I need to be 5x8, I can do my assigned location for three days and another office, closer to home, for two days.
Show them they're own FAQ, if they try to talk to you about it.
HR looks at one thing. Can we can this person just shy of their pension payout. That is it. You could be G.O.D and they don’t care.
Fact and this isn’t new. They also track your COU and laptop location and can pull that info at any time. Just fyi, don’t be leaving your laptop at the office, leaving and then using your cou to “work”. They will know.
TRUE. This is not fake news.
"They don’t want you getting credit for working at an office that doesn’t cause the maximum amount of angst and discomfort."
@b8
I’m not worried either. I work virtually and ignore all of Stankeys little directives.
I am not worried. I show up at the office like I am supposed to.
More stress more pain this is what they want. John told Jay to turn up the heat!
@ag haha
Another troll post by a disgruntled union employee getting paid time-and-a-half to sit in his bucket truck and look at p0rn on his phone
Many employees do not have a location with badge readers. I know a few on my team don’t, while others do and it comes up on the report.
Good.
The dark triaders want you miserable
That was just added there to make you worry. The more anxious and stressed you are the better to them.
“ cause the maximum amount of angst and discomfort.”
Make no mistake…this is exactly what those sociopathic sw1ne are ardently expediting. ANYTHING to cut heads…with NO severance.
It’s not at all fake, nor is it “new”.
My guess is that there is just a reinvigorated focus on it.
They don’t want you getting credit for working at an office that doesn’t cause the maximum amount of angst and discomfort.
If meeting Right Time, Right Place, Right Duration requirements there is no worry.
