Yeah. A lot of us want to move around but the freeze shut that down. Oh..same goes for promotions. It’s a passive way to get people to leave without paying.

@ag - So many of these plans are SO VERY MANAGEMENT HEAVY !!! I have never worked in a lace that had a manager over a team then a manager over 3 managers , then a manger over 2 , 3 team managers, then a manager over them .... then they also SPLIT that department a few years ago off with a separate set of manager over that ... MEANWHILE .... they have been stripping workers of essential benefits like certain medications being covered on their health insurance, having internet access during field work, having marketing give aways for events, having modern, dependable working laptops for field work, partial reimbursement for the REQUIRED super high speed internet workers have to have to work from home, and other varied things. And now that plethora of management meets CONSTANTLY and are forever telling the people bringing the actual business into the comany that they can do more, do better, do more quality with absolutely ZERO recognition of a job well done and ya better not have any overtime while yer doin it. They've been quietly cutting people in the Medicare department and then blowing people off when they express sadness or concern . The gaslighting is neverending. The leader in me, having been in actual leadership positions many times in the past, is just telling peole at the same level to focus on the work, focus on the why, and ignore the political circus ... but it is getting harder every single day.

@ag "People who actually carry the company" -

We had a team restructuring recently - I refuse to take initiative for the additional "responsibilities" . Yes I'll do some minimal stuff , but to apply myself and adopt the level of direction the role needs - I refuse to do until I get more in compensation..

If I can say anything to the executive leadership team, it would highlight the organizational knowledge base. People who have been around 5+ years have a great deal of understanding of what is needed and what can go wrong. It really is those people who "carry the company" and operate with a great deal of organizational knowledge.

At this point I see such significant investment in things that really do not add to our membership health / experience or our operations.. It is a slap in the face to not get a cost of living adjustment since being at the company for so long - and to restructure our team, give us more responsibilities and not discuss compensation.

I've retained providers, members and saved this company millions of dollars. When it comes to MY compensation - that is a low priority.

I'm in search of another opportunity outside of Centene..

Of course. You didn't think they thought anyone under upper management was actually necessary, did you? This hardcore push for AI that's messing everything it touches up is all they care about now. Otherwise they look like fools after the disgusting amount of $$ they dumped into it. But that will catch up to them soon enough. Are they going to have AI replace them? NO. Good to know that they have the budget for inflated comp packages for positions that are more than likely not needed and never were, instead of retaining and giving decent raises to the people who actually carry the company.
