Time to shut down these programs and ramp up the deportations.
99.9% of people who get laid off will just feel sorry for themselves and then go find another, probably better job and be happy. Who is going to spend millions of dollars on a lawsuit to whine in front of a judge that "Oracle should have laid off this other guy instead of me"? Anyone who has that level of resentment towards their coworkers instead of towards upper management that decided to trigger these layoffs in the first place (and were the ones who tanked Oracle's finances and stock price recently, which is supposedly what caused a need for layoffs) has seriously fu---d up priorities.
H1Bs \L1bs \OPTs \Green Card candidates should not have been hired in the first place. File the lawsuit and see where that goes. If it goes before a US jury, they will happily vote for laying off H1Bs \L1bs \OPTs \Green Card candidates. Let us know the jurisdiction so we can tell you if you will get a sympathetic US jury. I hope it goes to court in deep red state.

American citizen start working at 8am , do some BS , some data collection for next 3 hours. 11am to 12 pm is lunch. From 12 to 4 pm do some bs , and then go for cycling. In the mean time tickets are piling up , customers are escalating , here comes an h1b starts at 12pm , and continue to work till 11pm. Solves the issues and handle escalation. Who loses the job ?
