Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

FIS SUX! Highly Disappointed in our execs.

Need a class -action lawsuit against these id--ts! FIS mgmt. should be the folks leaving not the hard working class. I am betting we'll be forced to accept roles with Cognizant to keep a paycheck coming in only to get sc--wed within a year from now. Betting it is the way FIS gets around paying severance packages and Cognizant will get their cut. I am highly irritated with the manner if which they handled their business, and we are all being lied to by managers saying they had no idea, when we know they were included and had likely had to sign off. Deals like this don't happen overnight this has been in the work many many months, pushing a year and I hope they remember karma is a !@#$%

@ae no, if you decline TUPE then it's tested as a resignation.

@OP I can tell you that as a manager I had no idea what was happening to my team, I learned the faith of my team while they were in another call being told they were being outsourced. I am as disgusted by senior leadership as you are, also not ignorant to thinking any of us are safe in the longer term. Karma is a B and I hope the top of the house chokes on the million shares she purchased recently at bargain basement prices.

@ae So - if they are offering us a position with another company, then we are allowed to say NO and take the RIF package?

@OP worked here 30 years never seen anything like this. Not performance graded either just an FIS roll of the dice and it’ll fail client centric pffffft.

If you look at our severance package handbook i clearly states you will are not eligible for the severance package if you decline a position offered to you WITHIN the company. I truly hope people who decline the offer will be eligible for the severance package.

Probably the only thing that will impact the situation is to leave so there's no knowledge transfer. You're right they'll most likely su-k out your brain and then dump. No karma is coming, those exec paychecks and perks are rolling in as smoothly as before.
