For now at least, this hub is still hanging around. We will ditch the DTV space and move a couple of miles down the road. The new building looks fairly nice but I’m sure they will ruin it by cramming us all into an open plan that makes concentration impossible. No date given but since they sent notice have to believe it will be in the next couple of months at most.

The buildings themselves seem pretty nice. I’m sure they do everything they can to make our space the opposite.

Some @ss sent email to people in Middletown that they would love their new open space with all the great lighting over the "80s private offices and shoulder pads". He also claimed they were giving them a kitchen Martha Stewart would be proud of. 🙄
People told me that this "kitchen" is just basically a stainless steel refrigerator, sink, and a microwave. They also say they can't concentrate because of all the noise and have the discomfort of having to wear headphones all day long to both block the noise and attend the same virutal meetings that had been going on long before being crammed into "collaboration" space. They also had to have the overhead lighting adjusted because even that wasn't right.

@a2 Not only will they cram us in but they will also claimed they “listened” to us because the lighting is better or some other BS. I guarantee it. The current place is dreary but we at least have a little privacy in terms of the workspace.

You can bet on it. Making you miserable is the att way. Easier to replace you also since your just a number to them and can simply plop someone anywhere else in the building or any building for that matter.
