Are we all done for this round? Or do we have more days of stress remaining?

Ah yes, because when someone loses their job, what they really need is advice from Captain ‘Buy Some Sheep and Chill.’ Thanks for the life lesson, shepherd—maybe focus on your own career before handing out farmyard retirement plans to people actually doing real work
@a6 I was let go at age 63 and FIS found a way to not pay all of my severance. I wanted to work for 2 more years. It wasn’t the end of the world but after working my butt off for them for 24 years, it was a kick in the teeth.
We had a team leadership “mandatory” meeting yesterday, where we were told that was it for 2025. That could just mean the CIO group, but that’s what we were told.
There's one planned for mid September, one in October, and another in November
Atelio must be next. Ugh.
There is one planned for October, more of a “clean up what we missed” RIF. Potentially one more after that before year end, although that has not been finalized.
It's just begun, this is going on all month.
@a7 Someone mentioned that there would be more tomorrow so we'll see
From what I've heard, yesterday was the last day of layoffs for some time. If you weren't notified, youre still safe. It was a massive layoff however, so, take that how you will. From all levels of the organization. (So not just people who have been around for years)
I don't understand why people on these positions are worried about the life after FIS. Like, you were within the company for years... Your salaries are much more then people on L7... You are getting a really good package for leaving the company to start a new adventure in your life... Buy a few sheeps go on a countryside and enjoy in your life 🤷

I’d love to start sleeping again!
